Stuart Maxwell’s Big River Blues is a quartet of experienced rock and blues musicians playing a mix of swinging, funky classic blues and original songs.
Adam Perry (drums) toured Europe with me in the Mick Ralphs Blues Band (Mick is the man from Bad Company and Mott The Hoople). George Leslie Calvert (bass) travelled the world with Mungo Jerry and the King Earl Boogie Band. Nick Johnson (guitar) has worked with Thunderclap Newman, Bruce Foxton of The Jam and Mark Brzezicki (Big Country, The Cult). All of us have a string of TV and radio credits to our names, in the UK and around the world.
